Registering a SIM for data use on My O2

Hi,

I have an O2 PAYG SIM installed in a tracker (which is abroad) and last week I topped it up.

Today I have created an O2 account as I wanted to keep track of the remaining balance.

When I try to add a PAYG device to my O2 account, the system wants to send a text to the number (which is the tracker) which won't help me - is there a way around this?

The only way is to get the sim and put it in a phone to receive the text.
