Received 50MB roaming data limit message

I have Travel Abroad bolt on. I am in Russia and have received message saying  I have nearly reached my 50MB/£48 roaming data limit. Why? I should be charged £4.99!

Looks like Russia is not covered...

Well that’s used up pretty quick if it’s a high speed connection

@NRC

Will be much better using WiFi...though not sure how easy that is to find in Russia.

Re: Received 50MB roaming data limit message

It's just a shame the op didn't check first. It's so easy to check and many customers think O2 Travel applies everywhere.

It's understandable though as Eastern Russia is classed as Europe but not for roaming purposes. An understandable mistake to make though.

Re: Received 50MB roaming data limit message

Or get a mobile hotspot (or old unlocked phone) and an international data sim - this one is 0.02 Euro/MB - works pretty much everywhere....
