Received 50MB roaming data limit message

I have Travel Abroad bolt on. I am in Russia and have received message saying  I have nearly reached my 50MB/£48 roaming data limit. Why? I should be charged £4.99!

Russia is not covered in O2 Travel Or O2 Travel Inclusive

You will be paying International rates

Will be much better using WiFi...though not sure how easy that is to find in Russia.

It's just a shame the op didn't check first. It's so easy to check and many customers think O2 Travel applies everywhere.

It's understandable though as Eastern Russia is classed as Europe but not for roaming purposes. An understandable mistake to make though.

Or get a mobile hotspot (or old unlocked phone) and an international data sim - this one is 0.02 Euro/MB - works pretty much everywhere....
