@Sally18

You'll need to start a new contract in your name as you will need to pass the credit checks.

You can then transfer the phone number to your new account, which will cancel the old one.

Guide: Migration & porting into O2

Looks like you should contact the sales team as they can help with that – message them on Social Media if that works best for you -on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)
Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255
Thanks

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

You will need to take out a new contract in your own name

Subject to credit check

Mum will then have to phone up with you to migrate your number to the new contract

That will close the original account

There may be fees to pay
