I have been charged an extra £0.54 for the last 2 bills. It is supposed to be for a txt message to the same person.  I have not included any photos or anything else in the txt. A refund is due. Can't use the virtual assistant 😕 or get any support from accounts.

@Help60

How long was the text message, and did you use RCS and include anything that would be converted to a picture.
As that would change the message to a MMS rather than a SMS

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

@Help60

If the sms was over 480 characters it would convert to an mms which is chargeable.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

As you can see from this post, reclaiming a charge applied for phoning the 08456 O2 Top-Up number (as that is what the Web Top-Up page advises!), you need to persist with O2 Social Media, and they eventually will come back with an answer:  https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Other-Products-and-Services/O2-Web-Top-Up-not-recognising-a-valid-O2-P...

Good luck, @Help60.
