Hi all, I was recently looking at my credit profile and came across an account on o2 which had defaulted. When I’ve tried to ring up and get it paid I’ve provided all the info they asked, all possible emails, addresses and billing address however nothing comes up for them? This debt is from 2018 but I’m hoping there’s some way I can find the account. All logins that are saved all come up with no account found. Has anyone else had this issue when trying to settle an old debt.

Defaults are only valid for 6 years, after that, they can be removed.

You need to add a notice of correction to your credit file.

This will put doubt into the validity of the default and the credit agencies will be forced to question O2 about it.
