Had my phone ages. Obviously don’t have the old packaging anymore. Need the mobile broadband number. Can’t call anymore due to lockdown. Says I can find the number in my O2 bill but this is untrue - I have looked hard. Really getting on my nerves now and I NEED to add more data to my account. Anyone?...

@MattJelf

I don't get why you need your mbb sim number?

Just add a data bolt on to your phone sim if that's what you are using.

You do that through your phone's MyO2

I think you're getting confused.

You don't need one for your phone.

You use the data on your phone tariff.

I guess not as there is no number except my normal number. And I can’t register it without having it (my iPhone is pretty old) this is so infuriating. I’m in Italy working and need to top up my data and cannot without it, and UK helpline in lockdown is not answering and referring me to website which is useless...

If you're in Italy as you say above then your data sim won't work anyway...

@MattJelf didn't come back to confirm if he was using his phone or other device, but either way, data can be used on the phone sim. If needed, a bolt on can be added to get more. I don't know if the mbb number is the result of confusion or an actual device?

Wasn't sure, but as he mentioned mobile broadband, he was working in Italy but his data was not working I thought it sensible to say that data only sims don't work abroad...
