Dear Sir/Mmd
Hope you are doing well.
I am contacting you regarding my O2 account.
Basically I have a contract with O2 since may 2022, and will expire in April 2023. I am paying my contract bill every month. I am in Italy right now, and I am here 6 months now, I have received a message from O2 saying that I am not allowed to use O2 sim card out of UK for more than 6 months. I will be back in UK in April, so what should I do then? Cuold you help me please.
Kind regards
Luisa

This is down to the rules on roaming, and you have hit the limit of 63 days in any 180 days, the only way round this is to agree to pay for calls, texts and data the prevailing rate, all UK networks operate the same rules, as "roaming using your UK allowance" is not meant for long term. (in fact all EU networks as well operate the same rules).
I would suggest contacting customer services on +44 7860 980 202 or using Skype from your laptop on 0800 902 0217 Guide: A Guide to Skype
Your best option if you are going to be in Italy for a long time is get an Italian Simcard either TIM or Vodafone IT
When your contract is up then either cancel the contract Guide: Cancelling Your Contract or keep the same contract and pay the airtime only.

See fair use policy here https://www.o2.co.uk/roamfairuse
We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this
Thanks
