My O2 App gives Error code 36 (unlinked MSISDN)

I am just wondering why? I guess this has something to do with me getting my old mobile number moved to my new contract phone.

Can anyone clarify if that is the cause? If not what is? and regardless - how to fix it?

The fix I used was to open Settings > Apps > find it in the 'Downloaded' list and then click 'Clear Data'.

Then just go into the app and re-login, that fixes it all.

It could be.

First try deleting it and re download.

Check your current O2 mobile number is showing in myo2.

Then if no joy ring O2 customer services.

Very unrelated...but...

You know you are a mobile phone nut when you ask a girl...

"can I have your MSiSDN"

You should just go ahead and ask her to marry you when she replies...

"yeah its 07................."

Help!!  I have 36 on my MiFi, what does this all mean?  I am only able to access my apps intermittently.  I have paid my bill and have credit on my dongle.  It is driving me nuts and O2 are not avaviable.

Hi all,

I'm having the same issue. It started after I upgraded software from iOS 7 to ios 7.0.3. When I opened my02, the "msisdn...code 36" message popped up. I've tried deleting and reinstalling and it hasn't work. Would like to try the fix mentioned above but though I've tried to locate the app in settings, so I can use the fix above, I Can't find it other than in "Usage" and the only option given at that point is "delete app".
Any other fixes that may be suitable for iphone 5 would be ace.

The fix above won't work on an iPhone. You'll have to delete the app then do a soft reset before re installing. I'd download a fresh too rather than from a cloud backup.
