Hi.
I live in an area of relatively poor signal, and O2 provides the strongest so we've had to to use O2 more or less as a default. Despite this, the service has always been pretty good and have never had any complaints, until now.
I recently took out 2 new contracts for my children (I have twins) who were starting secondary school this year. The tariffs available on the O2 site were hugely uncompetitive so after visiting uSwitch I took the contracts out with third parties such as buymobiles.com. I should add that the two new contracts are in my name, are registered to my address and have my email address as contact details.
I know this is possible, as I've done it in the past, but I want to be able to use myO2 on my phone and see usage, billing etc for all three numbers in my name (my own, and both my kids' phones). O2 customer services said that it's not possible to merge the accounts as they were taken out separately and (in not so many words) said I should have considered that when I took the accounts out.
I KNIOW this is possible as I've done it in the past. I tried to go onto myO2 on a computer, and only my own number comes up when I enter my email address as a username. I tried to add products / services and got a code sent to my daughter's phone but I then get a notice saying it's not possible as there already exists a myO2 account with that number. That I can't access!
This is driving me insane and customer support is useless. Has anyone else had and solved this issue?

Hi @8Ace Sorry you are having issues although the information you have been given is correct if contracts are on separate accounts you can no longer link them in MYo2 this service was withdrawn awhile ago now so yes it was possible. You would need to log into the Myo2 new accounts with there own username and password to view them.
Thanks o2Emma

I have a similar problem about merging accounts.
My wife has had an O2 phone for sometime but I manage it, as she is deaf. I originally had two contact numbers registered for her phone; her number and mine on Virgin. However, since merging Virgin with O2 I cannot add my number as a contact for my phone, it says already in use. Consequently, any problems , or requirements that O2 needs to contact me, go to my wife's phone, who, to repeat, is deaf and may not be in my vicinity. Why can't the same number be registered as a contact number for more than one phone.
I don't know why O2 has withdrawn this service but reminds me of the fiasco with TUGO, a few years ago. a brilliant service that was a USP for O2. We, the customers, need the ability to manage a number of phones under one 'management account' for a variety of reasons, in my case because my wife is deaf, she only uses text services and social media.
For the record, we are both over 70, I am technically literate but my wife, due to her disability, did not get the same level of education and struggles with understanding the intricacies of modern technology.
Andy
PS. Could you get someone to check your websites, there seems to be more than one version accessible on the net and there is many broken links and poor error handling.

I'll ask @ColinO2 to contact you to talk about the website and for you to highlight the problems
As to merging accounts that won't happen until everyone is on the new accounting system, and even then its not a given
