Ive just upgraded my phone through O2 and now Ive received text messages as a survey on the service. The texts are coming from 29797.

Are these fake premium rate texts pretending to be O2 to get replys?

@Bikemadperry

I searched on google and nothing to suggest it was a premium text. Giffgaff, which runs on O2  stated on their forum its from O2 used for surveys https://community.giffgaff.com/d/33069510-text-messages-to-29797/5

However if you aren't sure then just delete it. (which is what I would do) I find texts from O2 generally come from mycare @ O2.

The last text survey I had from O2 came from 24141
