Please cancel any arrangements you think you have with me. My phone is with VOXI and my home broadband is with Virgin. I do not use or want to use any of your services. I have received bogus demand letters with strange looking 02 letterhead and incomplete details. I have had a credit check on my email address. I think I am being scammed.

If you think you’ve been the victim of fraud – whether it’s because you’ve given details to someone over the phone, or clicked on a link in a suspicious text or email there are things you can do:
Contact your bank if you think you may have given out financial information. They can help protect your account and stop transactions.
Change your account and online account passwords. Not just your O2 account. All of them.
Forward fraudulent texts to O2 for free on 7726.
Contact Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040.
Call your Virgin Media or O2 customer services number if you think somebody’s taken out a contract using your details.
Virgin Media customers can phone 150 from their landline or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone.
O2 customers can call 202 from their O2 phone or 0344 809 0202 from any other phone.
You can block the number that called you, or any number you think may be suspicious.

@BeingScammed

Let me guess you signed up for Volt to get the disount on your Broadband from Virgin and to get that you have to take an o2 sim deal, and you have never used the sim card, and have cancelled the direct debit related to it.  thinking if I dont use it I dont have to pay for it?? Sound about right.

Well you still need to pay for it, and not using it or binning the sim still means you have to pay for it.

Also you dont get credit checked on an email address you get credit checked on your personal data..

I would login to your Virgin Media account and check your contract, and if you think you have been missold then contact Virgin on 0345 454 1111
