All names, numbers, and email addresses below are fictitious in order to preservemy privacy.
I have just joined O2 so I went through the usual process with two separate sim cards. With both I went to correct web page, registered the number, O2 sent a code to my phone, and I entered the code and everything was fine so far.
In the next step I was asked for an email address and I have an account with fastmail.fm so I entered 01234567890@heydonbarrow.fastmail.fm and waited for an email with a link to follow. I am still waiting.
For the second sim card I used a gmail address, heydonbarrow+01234567890**Personal info**, and received the email almost immediately. Everything went swimmingly.
What I want to know is how to tell O2 that they have a problem with their software. It is not acting correctly on a perfectly valid email address.
