Can you help. What do I need to do as am going on a cruise for 2 weeks todY. Am pay monthly. Do i need to turn off my wifi and go on aeroplane mode.

Yes, keep phone in airplane mode and just use ships wifi (which you will have to pay for but will be cheaper).
