If you think you’ve been the victim of fraud – whether it’s because you’ve given details to someone over the phone, or clicked on a link in a suspicious text or email there are things you can do:
Contact your bank if you think you may have given out financial information. They can help protect your account and stop transactions.
Change your account and online account passwords. Not just your O2 account. All of them.
Forward fraudulent texts to O2 for free on 7726.
Contact Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040.
Call your Virgin Media or O2 customer services number if you think somebody’s taken out a contract using your details.
Virgin Media customers can phone 150 from their landline or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone.
O2 customers can call 202 from their O2 phone or 0344 809 0202 from any other phone.
You can block the number that called you, or any number you think may be suspicious.

I did all this start of wk when received suspicious phone call. Called o2 straight after phone call as knew it was a scam. Was told account all ok. Reported thru advice on o2 website regarding fraud as well. Blocked number as well. Scammer end of wk knew somehow i sent email to fraud team. I received email asking for my  Id but I knew was scam as my phone numbers was different. I did not click on any links. How they able to still continued to hack me I dont understand. O2 said i was ok and then reported as per help page. Thats why contacting ombudsman regarding this. I did everything was told from O2 and was even told my account not been affected. But obviously it has as they knew i sent email to fraud team. So why will i report again thru o2 as they have access to my account when done everything to protect myself as per o2 guidance

All members of this O2 Forum are customers or former customers of O2, @Anonymous - if you read the article linked above, which is very detailed, you will understand how persistent these scammers are. All the info to call O2 or contact O2 are here: https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus and also in the link just below. Good luck!
