@Cor19 Your son will need to call customer service to reset his password: Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
O2 aren't very much interested in talking to customers these days unless they're buying something or upgrading. If you want to discuss your issue with customer service, below is alternative advice from an O2 Guru on how to get through.
Call 202 from your mobile.
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
You may also have to use the Upgrade, Lost/Stolen or Fraud option to get through.

He just needs to click on forgotten password on the MyO2 login page http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2 and a reset link will be sent to his registered email address.
Once back in, he can reset his security word under "Manage my details".
