I swapped my phone through insurance because it was damaged and am now having issues reinstalling the e-sim. I was sure to deactivate it on my old phone prior to formatting and exchanging it.

You'll need to generate a new esim either in your MyO2 or by going in store with photo ID.

ESIM seems to be a nice idea, poorly implemented @HG2 - not just on O2.

The days when you used a bent paperclip to remove your plastic SIM from the old phone and just popped it into your new handset seemed so much simpler...

The MyO2 app procedure is shown in the post below, if you can get into your MyO2 app now you have moved all to the new phone:
