I would just like to speak to someone at O2 - how difficult is to find a contact number!

It's quite easy as there is a contact us link at the bottom of every page :
http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

The numbers you need are 202 from an o2 phone or 0344 809 0202 from a landline.
