I have received an unsolicited phone call from someone called Tony at Compare The Networks.  He claims to be calling on behalf of O2 regarding my contract.  Is this legitimate please?

It's a well known scam.
Block the number and do not follow any links.
Forward the scam text or number to 7726 - It's free.

And we're fully aware of all the scams pulled by these "legitimate" partners.

Con artists the lot of you.

Not another 'Trusted' Partner.

So what you sell to the customer are they consumer accounts or business account? Do you inform them of the difference.

Do customers have the standard 14 day cool off period?

Are payments for the handset and airtime different or are they lumped together? At the end of the term do customers carry on paying for the handset?

Got lots of other questions, but they will do for now

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

@Ctn

Just had a look at the website of your "company" and it looks like it was designed by a 2year old...  and CTN was disolved in 2019 according to companies house.. or are you the spun up in the same location and same directors Comparemobiles UK Limited

No company number, the Microsoft Partner logo is so old its out of date and no partner number for Microsoft all against the terms of the Partner Network  There is no mention of you on o2's website or Vodafones for partners...

And suprisingly enough no one on the channel has ever heard of you...

If it smells like a con, looks like a con, then it is a con...

@Kei-M_O2 this might be worth passing on to the IP team to deal with, and get them to alert Microsoft... as Im sure they will have a few questions...
