Change of Postal Address for Pay and Go Customer

Hi,

I'm trying to correct my address in MyO2. The help system directs me to 'My Device' and the 'Billing' tab. However, I don't see a billing tab, presumably because I'm Pay and Go and don't get a bill!

As to why I want to change it - if I go to the O2 shop, and start the buying process, it pulls in my address from somewhere. This is almost correct, but a bit garbled ("all the right notes, not neccesarily in the right order"). But at that stage at least, there is no option to correct it.

So O2 has my address stored somewhere, but doesn't seem to have a simple way to correct it on the website.

I would be delighted to be proved wrong, if someone can direct me to the correct option!

Thanks,

Mark

@DarbyMarkIf you cant see the option in MY O2 then you may be better contacting customer services https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

I would also suggest you speak to an advisor rather than use live chat....

It isn't possible to change your address on a PAYG account (strange but true)!
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Thanks for the feedback - think this will be my next option. Just curious if I was missing something obvious. Do other Pay and Go Customers see a 'Billing' tab, or is it just me?

Well, I hope it can at least be amended!

As an example:

It shows up as:

10

Village

Streetname

Town

When it should obviously be:

10 Streetname

Village

Town

Will try calling customer services.

Thanks,

Mark

No bills for PAYG so no one has it.

According to O2 this is all you can do with PAYG via MY O2 https://www.o2.co.uk/explore/tariffs/paygo/hello

It does say 'manage you account' in the link but as I'm not PAYG I'm unable see what that includes. wink

A good postman would always find it but it shouldn't really matter when upgrading as long as O2's 'cannot be used even with common sense' systems don't reject payment. I doubt there will be any problem upgrading for payandgo though.

As for changing it, new procedures  mean that it can't be changed other than by customer service  (depending who you speak to).....
