I have been trying for 3 months to change my debit order date to no avail. The staff in store are rude and unhelpful to the highest degree (Bath Branch) The facilities provided by O2 are lacking in customer service and efficiency. Any idea how one actually changes their debit order date would be most welcome

You need to speak to the Payment Management Team on 0800 902 0217.
The opening times are:
Monday to Friday – 8am to 8pm
Saturday – 8am to 6pm
Sunday – 9am to 6pm
