I have bought a sim card to travel and roam in europe. I’d like to cancel the contract and do not need the number anymore, is there a way to do it without calling o2? Since I have tried calling the o2 but they just leave me on call forever and isn’t helping me to cancel the contract. Also, even thought it is a pay as you go contract, it has said to top up for me but i didn’t see any transactions on my bank card so i am very confused.

If you don’t top up then you will be disconnected automatically after 6 months.

Otherwise call 445 from your handset

Guide: Cancelling Your Contract

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

@Rachelf

Just stop using it and it will be disconnected after 6 months.

Make sure you cancel any auto top up you may have activated.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

@Rachelf To stop your auto top-up and delete your details go to www.o2.co.uk/myo2. Then go to auto top-up and you can then cancel your auto top-up and details.
