I have been trying for 3 months to cancel three O2 accounts through chat, as I am living outside of the UK and cannot call due to cost and time difference. All accounts are pay monthly sim only, and all are NOT in contract.

Customer service chat are unable to cancel the account and either say they will transfer me to the right team, which doesn't happen, or send me a link to the shop, which does not help!

I am now unable to get through on chat at all because it says "Sorry, we are extremely busy right now, so I can't put you through"... try again later.

I need to cancel these accounts as I am currently paying for 8 mobile contracts! This needs to be resolved as a matter of urgency as I no longer have an income in the UK to cover the costs.

This is a customer to customer community, not O2.
You need to contact O2.
Message them on Social Media. Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

It is not possible to contact them without calling, which will cost me more than my bill is...

Also, I do not have Facebook, Twitter or Instagram... why would I?

I'd have no idea why you would or wouldn't have social media. How could I ?

It's free to call from abroad from your O2 sim anyway.
