I need a VAT invoice, I request that when my bills are paid a VAT invoice is issued.

Issuing an invoice that states “this is not a VAT/tax invoice” in theory does not create a tax point because it is not a VAT invoice and so the tax point shifts to when the invoice is paid. Once paid, the supplier must then issue a proper VAT invoice to the customer (usually on request).

If not on a business contract you need to request vat invoices from O2.

You can reach the Payment Management team on 0800 902 0217.
The opening times are:
Monday to Friday – 8am to 8pm
Saturday – 8am to 6pm
Sunday – 9am to 6pm

@MikeThorpe50 - if you use Social Media, ie X/Twitter, Facebook or Instagram, then use the link below to get your request serviced - it may take a few nudges over a couple of days, but that team is best placed to e-mail your changed invoice(s) to you, as well as to make the adjustment on your MyO2 account to ensure all future bills are recognised VAT Invoice/bills.
