It could be a number of reasons, such as a direct debit due out, or a glitch in the o2 matrix.
It might be worth calling payment management team at 8am on 0800 902 0217 and paying over the phone.

And while you are on the phone to O2 Payment Management as suggested by @madasaf1sh - get them to help you fill out the Direct Debit mandate so payment happens automatically 14 days after your bill is issued,@Kyle13 - one less thing to have to remember every month 👍
