Your Allowances - what is and isn't included.
All O2 contracts, SIM only tariffs and PAYG big bundles come with some allowances.
All customers can keep track of their allowances in their MyO2
General Calls and Texts
All calls to UK 01, 02, 03 or 080 numbers are included.
Calls to UK 07 numbers are also included, but not 070 or 076 numbers based in the Channel Islands.
Calls and texts to 070 numbers, 076 numbers and Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man numbers are not included and will cost extra.
You will also be charged for picture messages and calls to premium numbers.

0800 and 0808 numbers
It’s free to call freephone numbers starting 0800 or 0808 from your mobile phone or landline. These changes came into effect on 1 July 2015, as part of the UK Calling changes.
International calling
For contract customers, you will need an International bolt on for cheaper calls International-bolt-on
PAYG customers will need an International-sim
Standard charges apply without the bolt on. These can be found here calling-abroad-standard-rates
Texts to Premium Services
Texts to UK mobiles and landlines are all included.
Some shortcodes are also free (although your phone will warn you of possible charges).
See help and number checker here Premium-service-checker
Big Bundles
PAYG customers can select a Big Bundle which gives you allowances in exchange for credit.
For example, currently £10 will give you 2gb of data, 500 mins and 5000 texts, but you will not have any credit, so if you need to make any chargeable calls, you will need to make an additional Top Up
Classic PAYG
Designed for low users and does not come with any allowances Classic PAYG
Emergency Calls
Calls to 999 are free
Calls to 101 (Police none emergency) cost 15p per call.
Calls to NHS 111 are free to call.
