Getting an old number back

Help someone I was travelling just arrived back in Scotland called customer service to do a number change back to my old one as my phone had been.lost in a house move. Is there anyway I can get NY number back eben though its been over a year

I doubt they will be able to change your number back after a year of it being lost if you reported it lost a year ago?
If you didn't report it as lost and it's a pay as you go handset, it's most likely been disconnected now anyway as they only last about 6 months if left inactive.
