I have been an o2 customer for 8 years now. I've paid for four iPhones duirng that time. I'm really disappointed that there is no loyalty shown to existing customers. The camera in my iphone SE has not worked at all for well over a year. I'm due an upgrade in April, but there is no way for me to bypass the £60 left on my contract in order to upgrade. It's disgraceful. Why won't you help loyal customers?

@Anonymous O2 has operated a "Fair Deal For All" policy for some years now. It's always possible to find a sympathetic person when you call Customer Service who may offer you a discount, but it's luck of the draw. If O2 doesn't consider loyalty a factor in renewing, then neither should you, but if you choose to leave, make sure the provider you choose offers coverage comparable to, or better than O2's. No point in a better deal if you can't get decent coverage.

There may be something in the near future for loyalty.
