Error creating a topic

I have noticed one thing , on arival to the community welcome page , there is a link to start a new post .

I have never managed to get this to work ?? 

i always get              form.MessageEditor.action.ChooseBoard.error

Did you select a board as shown here?

@MI5 I did the same and it still alows you to enter message then post as you say
