why do O2 care nothing about their existing customers

Anonymous
Not applicable

Rang O2 tonight to discuss a possible upgrade.

Some hope!!

Firstly Paul wouldn't even talk to my daughter about her own phone despite us putting her name down with them twice in the past

Good Start!!!

Next I tried to ring them from a landline. They obviously think I have all the time in the world to listen to rubbish music. How come every time I ring they are experiencing a high level of  calls. Funny that. Maybe they should increase the number of people in their call centre. Or is that just me. Don't think so.

Anyway suffered that music for twelve minutes and was constantly reassured that I was in a que when all of a sudden I was cut off.

GREAT CUSTOMER RELATIONS

MAGNIFICENT work O2 I'm now just logging onto my bank to cancel the account

Well done another unsatisfied customer

You need to let o2 know you are cancelling too as they will continue to try and call the DD and will put a default on your credit file if you don't pay.

@Anonymous

I would imagine that they wouldn't talk to your daughter because she probably isn't the person paying the contract.

If you're a contract customer, why are you wasting money calling from a landline, when calling 202 from your phone is free?

I think you may have the wrong end of the stick here. This is a customer to customer forum that O2 does not monitor, so threatening to cancel, apart from ruining your credit rating, won't get you very far.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

I called Thursday morning at 8.30am from Manchester airport to place a bar on my sim. No holding at all, got straight through. Called again Friday afternoon to have the bar removed from my account and waited maybe 30 seconds. We hear of some horrendous waiting times but it's not something I've experienced apart fro calling business customer service for a friend.
