Why is it that the talk is all about the G's in 2019 and I sit in my flat with my o2 phone with no signal and the only answer is to use it through my wifi ?

While mobile networks, network equipment manufacturers and handset manufacturers hype it up, ultimately all mobile networks are based on a radio network.
