Had a feeling something was going on with TT.

I doubt that it's a good deal for Talk Talk customers. O2 will offer their tariffs, not equivalents. The article says they can go to any provider, so they should shop around.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

I wonder how the "special discounted rate" will be arranged? O2 Open?

No idea, but no doubt we'll have to do a help guide on it wink

Wow I didn't see that coming! Thanks for posting @Poppysmum

Interesting statement here

"At the end of their contract the customer can choose to move to a new O2 deal OR switch away to a new provider. We've asked TalkTalk if there's a cut-off point by which you must make a decision, but it says a date has not yet been set".

and then this....

"TalkTalk says existing mobile customers will be offered "an exclusive proposition from O2" - which some have reported to be 25% off certain tariffs. The O2 deals will also be available to TalkTalk broadband customers.

The new O2 deal will mean customers have 4G rather than 3G, and access to O2's 15,000 free Wi-Fi hotspots and the O2 Priority app".

Thanks @Poppysmum makes interesting reading. However, O2 offering 4g rather than 3g; they can't offer that to all their existing customers let alone new TT ones.

Would love to know how many current TT customers move to O2 and how many run a mile in spite of the 'introductory' offers. If they read this forum they may well think twice.
