You say you are having a problem sending MMS from outside the UK. But you don't say what the problem is.
I think those settings are correct.

You definitely get the green dot?
Which network are you roaming on? Are you using the default MMS app?

If it worked before you went to Ireland, then contact O2-UK with the FULL details and ask them to check your account and also to check there are no roaming problems.

what do you mean 'full details'
i have been in contact with o2 loads of
times and given them every deatil i can, short
of what i had for breakfast.

on a little rant - i am very very annoyed with o2 support services
they are the worst i have every had to deal with.
every person i deal with just gives me the same
settings already intallled on the phone and my last email from
them said... and i quote
".....As you've tried
everything given to you. There's nothing more than can be done"

everything given to me, they tried two things.. 1 wipe the sim (laughable)
2. new settings.! (the same settings from all i've spoken to and emailed.)_
they just repeat the same bull without a clue.

i have a contract with o2, i am paying for a service that i am not getting.

i think it may be time to take this a step further.

You need to be explicit, you need to give full details, don't use vague phrases like 'I've tried everything' , 'I'm in Ireland and I've got a problem with MMS' . So you would contact O2 and say:

*My handset is an HTC Desire and I am roaming in Eire on O2-Ireland.
*When I send an MMS, the message does not send and I receive an error 'Generic Network Failure'
*I have tried cleaning the SIM
*I have tried refreshing the settings, as directed by yourselves.
*MMS was working before I went to Ireland

Please can you advise how to report a network issue. Please can you also check that MMS is fully provisioned on my account. I would be grateful if you could let me know of any other checks or tests I can make.

I suspect they will ask if you can try your SIM in another handset, although that may be difficult if you are overseas.

Good luck with it, and let us know their response. (Exactly what they say, not a generalised comment)

There are further steps you can take if necessary.
