Just making a suggestion for free calls to the police number 101. I have just spent 60p to make a "free call" because I can't use my bundle minutes.

You would have thought this should be an inclusive number but other people have posted on here about the charges. It would stop many people using this number especially given the situation now when even 999 calls can be deprioritised.

It's 15p per call.

Along with genuine queries I can imagine the boys and girls in blue get a lot of timewasters so I think it ought to remain a chargeable number to stem those a bit.
