changing mobile number

Hi can someone tell me,when i changed my mobile number how do i know when the new number is working?????????do i get a text from 02??????

You don't normally get a text when I did it once before it was pretty much instant have you another phone you can ring the new number on to check

just tried phoning the new number and i was put through to 02 messaging service so im assuming its not set up yet?

Try switching your phone off and on and see if it works then

Just to add if it continues not to work after 24 hours then perhaps call 02 customer services on 202 from another 02 mobile or via landline
