Unlock my iphone 6s - waiting since 5 months now

Dear O2,

 

I bought an iphone 6S few month ago, and I had to move abroad 2 months ago. I kept my o2 plan which I don't use, but I need to put an US sim card into my iphone to use it.

I contacted you 2 months ago to unlock my iphone and you told me that you started the process to unlock it and it should take few days.. I wait for 3 weeks without any email or anything from your part.

I decided to contact you again regarding this issue, and you told me that now you will unlock it in urgence, so it would take less than 3 days...

I am waiting for more than 2 weeks now... 

I don't understand what is wrong with your unlocking process? I don't use my iphone i bought for 2 months now, just because the people i spoke to on the O2 chat don't know what they are doing.

So please I am asking you a 4th time : Can you please unlock my iphone??

If you can't - can you refund me please?

I think that's a typo as the thread content states 2 months.
Either way, the op will have to buy phone outright or wait until o2 change their policy on unlocking the 6s.

Even if it was a typo and the thread contents of 2 months is correct, why would customer service tell the OP that they were going through the unlock process knowing that the phone was an iphone 6s? Are they that out of touch?
