I have had money removed from my O2 Pay & Go account by a third party company without my permission. I spoke to O2 customer service and they said that I must have signed up for the service. I am a 56 year old male who does not sign up with a ringtone company at £4.50 a week. We have no children living at home and no one else has access to my phone or my computer.
Searching the Internet there are reports of lots of other people that have not signed up with this company having money removed from their account.
I discussed with O2 that they must have a security issue if third party companies can steal money from my account. O2 say it is not their problem.
I and my family are considering changing providers as O2 have been of no assistance with this issue.
Has anyone else had issues with Payforit removing funds from O2 accounts on behalf of a ringtone company KKO Mobile from MyDoo.
