Certainly a long wait up if it was.
O2 will be able to track your parcel but theirs no harm in speaking to the courier company as long as your not going to be faced with any phone call bill !

The new one hour delivery window, due to launch in March 2014, will ensure recipients receive a one hour expected delivery time slot on the morning of their delivery. The one hour delivery window is generated when the recipient’s parcel is loaded onto the delivery van and the driver’s delivery route is confirmed.
I can only guess the van brokedown or the driver is asleep in a layby somewhere
