Any details on what's affected with this? I've just read on sky news that Telefonica were a victim along with the NHS 😟

xp is on 5.26% of all windows computers in use world wide and only 1.91% uk the nhs has 4.7% still on xp the issue is that microsoft stopped official support and the nhs has loads of custom made software that runs on xp and the cost of software revision is high .

We already know how stretched the Nhs is but, as linked above the patch is now out (perhaps microsoft should release system critical patches all the time ).

There has been no problem for the hospitals here thankfully. All patient records are automatically backed up to cd as well on a weekly basis. I have 2 cds waiting in admin along with x-ray copies should I ever make it back home. However you start as a new patient here as the hospital has no access to previous medical history in the UK.
