Still Having Porting Issues From Vodafone

Hi All,

Just thought whilst on hold with Customer Services yet again, I'd update everyone with a lack of progress report on my issue (its better than listening to the endless hold music).

Last week there was real hope - found somwone in CS who said they would take ownership of the problem, promising they would call back in 24 hours with an update. Following day got the call, unfortunately there was no news yet from the Porting Team yet but I would get another call the following day.

Sadly no further calls from CS and the saga and frustration goes on.

Interestingly this morning, one of my clients on Vodafone called me from Dubai and was able to talk to me. Both surprised at this and elated that the problem was fixed but no, when I asked someone else to call me from the UK they got the usual number unobtainable signal.

So my question thnthe 02 Comminuty is, does anyone have a clue why someone can't call me when in the UK but can call me successfully when in Dubai

Now Sad & Depressed Customer

Have you any idea what number the colleague in Dubai dialed?
ie. 07 or +447 ?

That sounds very strange. A number should either work or not work. Unfortunately, I think this is something only CS are going to be able to sort out for you. Thanks for coming back to update. Hope the outcome is eventually successful for you.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Get someone in the UK to call with the +44 prefix too.
