Sony and Marshmallow

Hey, I'm wondering if anyone knows anything official about when marshmallow might be released as I can't find anything from Sony themselves since like October last year 😕 I might just be missing something obvious but I just wanted to see what was going on. On a related note, does anyone know when there might be a bug fix for Xperias using the Google Now launcher not having transparent status and home bars? I also can't seem to find anything official from Google on this, just hundreds of people reporting it.

I have Android M on my LG G4 now and other than a few UI differences, I really feel nothing has really changed much as yet. When fingerprint entry becomes mainstream on Android then that will be a game changer.
