Tip : When i WhatsApp someone unexpectedly i send WhatsApp then text person to tell them i have sent WhatsApp 

 

Did this last night 

 

Get text back WhatsApp not received 

 

Me thinking

 

Go and look at WhatsApp and rolling_eyes i hadnt turned wifi on joy

 

So my tip is always remember to turn wifi on or WhatsApp wont send thumbsup

WhatsApp will send over mobile data too if turned on.

But I never turn mine off so don't have to remember slight_smile

Well that made me laugh @Poppysmum and easy mistake to make.

I always have Wifi on and mobile data off unless I go out.

 

I made a similar silly mistake a few years back when 4G came to our area. Someone who lives close by claimed he had got 4G and I was furious I hadn't.

I discovered I had got it when I went into town and turned mobile data on. (So I actually had it all the time but as mobile data was off I didn't realise...) Rolleys

(Took a long time to live that one down...) LOL

I’m so glad I’m not alone!

 

I stuck my little Nokia on 2G only so I can’t waste any 1p on data.. the bloke in the shop said why don’t you stick it on 3G and turn mobile data off.. I was like.. good idea..

 

(and then shuffled out the shop looking embarrassed)

Well i turn mine off why waste my battery when i use my laptop at home .
