I have noticed over the past few months that the 4g signal around the country has been unreliable ! Just last week I was in the centre of London and on many occasions I was only getting 3G which is so slow the apps I was using would crash and just say retry ! I do not expect this level of service from such a large company ! Can someone explain why this is happening as I am not the only one with this issue on O2

We can't give you an answer on behalf of O2 as we are all customers here like yourself but the most likely cause is congestion on the masts slowing everything down.

There is a programme of network improvements being rolled out by O2 which is supposed to tackle the worst areas but we don't know where or when these will happen.
