Not sure why the article is emphasising 'older' phones either. It will happen with any phone no matter the age?

TBH it's a badly written article by someone who doesn't really know what they are talking about, hence my feeling for the need to link to a better explanation.

I saw it and thought blimey a slow news day apparently....They obviously needed some filler for the pages as this is old news

I'm sure their intentions were good but would have been better to get someone to write it who knew what they were talking about tongue

Good point .....but my personal annoyance is due to the fact they are promoting it as new news....and inferring that only old phones are affected.

Whilst there is a help guide here, and this is also very old news, we regularly see posts here from people who are not aware that texting emojis can run up bills. 

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
