S8 LED cover worthless

Anonymous
Not applicable

So I excitedly got a new S8 and was upsold the £49 LED cover , this morning I bent over to lift something of floor and phone slipped out of my breast pocket . Despite only failing from a height of less than 2 feet whilst in its protective case the screen cracked. So am now being asked to pay insurance excess for a crack that should never have happened if the case was fit for purpose, steer clear it's a waste of money

Not sure if it's guaranteed to protect the phone from a fall but I'll not be buying one anyway.
I hate covers on phones and try and go as minimal as possible (and not drop them).....

I must be lucky. On the very rare occasions I have dropped my Samsung (albeit a Note 4) she has bounced in her protective case and shrugged it off as if nothing has happened....:smileytongue:

My old Note bounced similarly well @Cleoriff, and it wasn't even kept in a case! Although, sadly, it didn't fare quite so well under the wheels of a minibus 😞 haha!
