Here's a better idea... employ enough people to reduce the hold times... oh and train them well

On second thoughts maybe changing the hold music is more likely.

I work for o2 and the amount of times I have been caught singing that when phoning another department is unreal, it sucks me in every time

You think that's bad, get kept on hold by talktalk for more than 3 nano seconds listening to some loon reading his own poetry, enough to turn a person to drink.

The hold music isnt bad and to be honest, you normaly get through straight away.

My other phone provder i could spend on the phone for 30 mins to a hour and there music stayed the same over and over again. lol
