Yes @viridis

I read about ARM

but until your information ~ didn't realise how important they are.

I have read that the components can be replaced and a techy

would no doubt do that ~

Re: Panasonic suspends components to Hauwei

Hearing Huawei have been stripped of their licence by the SD alliance.
No longer allowed to produce SD cards

Not only that, but not allowed to make a device with an SD slot

Re: Panasonic suspends components to Hauwei

Does that apply to dual purpose slots @viridis (SIM/SD slots)?

Re: Panasonic suspends components to Hauwei

Anything for use by SD cards.
Not reported fully yet, but it's what can be deduced by looking at the SD alliance approved vendor list.
Huawei used to be on it, now... Not so much

Re: Panasonic suspends components to Hauwei

So the 2nd SIM slot becomes just that and not dual purpose.
Would agree if they have disappeared off the list it does suggest something...

Re: Panasonic suspends components to Hauwei

Devices going forward will just have 2x SIM slot
Devices In market will retain use of both
