So, had poor service the last few weeks while O2 "maintain a local mast"

Prior to this, was getting around 18 meg download on 3 bars of 4g.

Yesterday it seemed much better and stronger signal, so decided to do a speed test...

That's near 50 meg down, 20 up on 2/3 bars of signal.

Mental.

Well done O2.

Maybe LTE + on trial....?

Definitely not, in fact 4G has been going for quite a few months now, I can occasionally use Speedtest with my phone but there seems little point in getting a new 4G phone when the signal is this bad.

I've tested sims from all the networks previously and they're all about the same.

Coverage checker says it's all ok, I feel the nearest mast is just badly positioned and I may never get a decent signal until another one is installed.

Without home Wi-Fi I would be goosed.

I've been the same in Crewe Cheshire CW1 the last 3 weeks O2 have been updating the masts in the area I can now pick up 4G all be it 2bars on and off around Crewe just can't for them to turn it on full time...

Network being updated...

In and around town today....

At my home address 2bars...
