Re: O2 roaming - speed test results

Honestly can’t tell if your trying to be cheeky or not, but no at that time I wasn’t, it is the same all over state. Visited Naples, Orlando and Clearwater beach and was the same no matter the place. A Vodafone UK iPhone 7 worked perfectly in universal Orlando where as my o2 iPhone X couldn’t even connect. Clearly o2 at fault

Re: O2 roaming - speed test results

Evening all.  I still can’t understand why we are still having these issues.

my god son has just returned from USA for 1 month.  He isn’t on o2 but on three and he did not have any issues. He traveled to tampa, malls and theme parks day and night.

he even did a snorkelling video call, although it did cut out eventually under water lol.

not sure what is going on,  it’s such a shame.

Re: O2 roaming - speed test results

It's more than a shame @darrengf

It's diabolical. O2 could be accused of breaking the trades description act or somesuch!

Being conned into buying phones/tariffs which promise them O2 Travel Exclusive, only to find out it doesn't work?!

Re: O2 roaming - speed test results

I know @Cleoriff. I just dont get it.  They could just say. In these countries we give you 500mb a day at full speed and then slow you down.

its a mess that’s for sure.

hope you fine and well though. 👍
