o2 put out an ambiguous explanation for the recent loss of service. It was possible to find the real explanation on IT sites. They say that an expired SSL certificate (£3.99 per year) caused the problem on an Ericsson server. This affected service as far as Japan! Now why did O2 talk of nodes when a simple explanation was available. And why did it take so long to find the expired certificates? Who controlls their renewal? In future please treat us tech savy and not fools.

Someone certainly needs their **** kicking over it.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
